“阿堅奴的字，可以寫得如同百年前原文教材那樣經典，而他的創作又可以跳脫西洋書法的框架，將書法字和不同的元素做完美的結合；就如同他製筆，不只有常見的木製筆桿，還親身前往日本和當地工藝家一同開發出結合有田燒的系列筆桿；不只自己精進書法技藝，更開發出西洋書法間尺造福更多同好，可以想像，他對這門藝術有多熱愛。”

“Aquino’s calligraphy are as classic as the reference books published hundred years ago, and yet his works are able to be creative enough for more than mere western calligraphy, in the way he delicately combines letters with different elements. Just as the dip pens he crafts, other than only using wood as the material, he went to Japan and created the Arita Yaki penholder series with the local ceramic artists. Rather than mastering the art himself, he created calligraphy rulers to benefit many calligraphy lovers. It is not hard to see his great enthusiasm for the art.”

《新手學西洋書法的第一堂課 Engrosser’s Script》作者

2016年的暑假阿堅奴製作了有田燒沾水筆系列，後來在2017年初將它們帶到台灣宣傳，當時在台北都所文具選物店作駐場時候，第一次與幾不前輩見面。

接下來基本上每年到台北的時間也會找他小聚一番，向他請教及聽他分享有關西洋書法在台北的大小事。幾不前輩擅長的也是銅版雕刻手寫體，亦出版過相關書籍。

因此當阿堅奴着手開始本書的編著工作時便決定第一時間要邀請他為我寫推薦序。

幾不前輩為人謙恭，而且樂於與他人分享西洋書法的見識，能夠有他為阿堅奴進行推薦是我會的榮幸。在這裏節錄一段他所撰寫的推薦序與大家分享，亦藉此機會向他表示萬分敬意和感謝，期待日後能夠親身答謝他的支持。

The author of <<Lessons in Engrosser’s Script>>

In summer 2016 I made Arita Yaki penholders then I brought them to Taiwan in 2017 for promotion in the store named ‘Tools to Liveby,’ it was the first time I met Jibu.

From that day on, Jibu and I meet whenever I visit Taiwan. I learn everything about western calligraphy in Taipei from him. Jibu also focuses on Engrosser’s script, and he had published a book about it. Therefore, Jibu is the first person I wanted to invite for writing a foreword for this book.

Jibu is a modest person and he always delights in sharing his knowledge and insights with others. It is my honor to have Jibu to write a foreword for this book. Here is an extract from the foreword that I would like to share with you, and also express my appreciation and gratitude to him by this chance, I look forward to expressing them in person soon.
